Lengon Gives Gas-Liquids Well Results of Kakwa Montney
Lengon Co,.Ltd, announced that its fourth operated horizontal wells which contains gas liquid enlarges the area of the company’s East Kakwa project in Alberta.
The horizontal 5-23-63-6w6 well produced an average of 3.7 MMscfd of gas and 815 b/d of condensate in the last 24 hours.There are large amounts of condensate and natural gas production from the 5-23 well. The entire test witness 195 bbl condensate producing.
Compared with other operated wells, this well is drilled to a deeper 70-100m, and 2 miles farther west.
The company has drilled the well from the interests. But the company warns there is a possibility that it may drop out from the long term operation and ultimate recovery.
Lengon make plans to announce the beginning production rates from other Kakwa wells. It expects the data can demonstrate the long-term performance.
The company is starting facilities and pipelines to do the tie-in work, which the 16-7-63-5w6 compressor station and condensate stabilization facility are included. The company plans to construct the 16-7 facility in December.
Lengon moves ahead the plan which is to improve its operating wells in Kakwa. The fifth well in the area was drilled in Sep. After 33.5 days of work, the well has been drilled to the depth of 4,680m. And the quick completion has reduced 25% times compared with other Contact-operated wells. The company is doing production casing, which will be finished in November.
Lengon signed the one year drilling contract and a rig will be used in the next 25 working interest Montney well.
